Sikh Missionary College shares the teachings, history and culture of the Sikh faith through education, publications and community learning.
Our story
From a shared vision to a learning community
Sikh Missionary College was established on 30 May 1980 in New Delhi by Gursikhs from Delhi and Punjab. A council of nine founding members was formed to guide the organisation. S. Harbhajan Singh of Ludhiana was appointed its president, and Ludhiana became its head office.
The college teaches Sikh religion, culture and history and helps young people develop the knowledge and skills to share what they learn. Its work has grown through study centres, study circles and educational projects.
